These are my predictions, not my preferences. MAJOR difference.  Most of my favorites (Synecdoche, New York, Michelle Williams, Samantha Morton, Juliette Binoche don't have a shot at a nomination)

Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight (winner and my favorite)

Woody Allen - Vicky Cristina Barcelona (i have a hard time being objective, but i'm just ever-hopeful this movie will surprise in a big way and wind up with 4 or 5 noms.)

Any guesses?  Thoughts? Feelings?  What do you think should be nominated?  What would you like to see nominated?

I hope Cate Blanchett, get nominated for Benjamin Button, she was spectacular , the movie on the other hand...way to long.....but your right Anne will win :D

Dark Night will not get a nomination. I thin Heath Ledger will be the only one to get a nomination and even that is a long shot. Other then that I like your lists.

Most of these are dead-on, but I have a hard time believing that Benjamin Button is going to be nominated for Picture and Director without getting ANY noms in the acting categories. If Taraji gets nominated I'll kill something, but she might push Amy Adams out of the race. Brad Pitt will probably push Jenkins out of consideration.
