Recently saw 3 dazzling movies, THE DEPARTED, LITTLE CHILDREN and SHORTBUS. Also liked A GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING YOUR SAINTS.

At this point I would say LITTLE CHILDREN is my fave movie thus far in 06, followed shortly by SHORTBUS, UNITED 93 and THE DEPARTED. I could rattle on about why I loved each of these films, but I think that would be more fun AFTER you have seen them. SHORTBUS, in particular MUST be seen if you are New Yorker or a sexual compulsive or hate sex or love sex or can't achieve orgasm or intimacy or love, etc. Its breathtaking. If you don't cry at least once, you are an asshole.
